We need copy-writers, film makers, editors, sound technicians, and online media experts to document and publicise The Waterways in general and the activities of Waterways Action Squad in particular. Tasks include: • Attending events and work parties to document what’s going on • Writing and sending out press releases • Working with our British Waterways, The Waterways Trust marketing departments and other marketing volunteers to get your work seen and heard in the papers, on the TV and Radio, and online • Work with other young people to help them express themselves trough the media and get their views across • Update our website, blog and social networking groups • On the creative side, you could be making short films, plays, radio broadcasts, articles, blogs or pieces of creative writing about the people and places of the canal network – whatever aspect of it most catches your interest. • If able to travel to Ellesmere Port, you could be a key member of a marketing group set up -
