More info
To celebrate the fact that 2010 is the International Year of Biodiversity, the Grosvenor Museum in Chester is planning a photographic exhibition focusing on the range of habitats within Cheshire. Supported by the Waterways Action Squad, you will be part of a small group responsible for exploring the industrial habitat around the Ellesmere Port area. You will spend an afternoon working with the Museum's Keeper of Natural History and professional photographer, David Heke, spotting and snapping the local wildlife that you see. The best photos will then be exhibited in the Grosvenor Museum as part of 'Mountains and Molehills: Habitats in Cheshire' from May to August 2010, before moving on to be displayed at the National Waterways Museum. All participants will be invited to attend a private viewing of the exhibition before it opens to the public. If you have an interest in wildlife, conservation and photography and would love your work to be part of a real exhibition, then this is for you! -
