We will be holding an all day event to commemorate 70th anniversary of the evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940. The event will be held at the National Waterways Museum and will involve range of interest groups , information, enactment groups and other activities. Tasks include: •Co-ordinating marketing and publicity •Work with other young people to help devise interesting activities on the day, to appeal to a wide range of people – the museum will still be open to the public so there should be things to appeal to all ages. •Co-ordinate other volunteers, planning what tasks need to be covered and deciding who is going to do what •Update our website, blog and social networking groups •Liaise with outside organisations to bring in more attractions – e.g. enactment groups and Dunkirk related boats, •Liaise with potential stalls holders and plan how the site will be organised on the day •Work with our staff to ensure health and safety precautions are in place and observed -
