Whether it’s a towpath tidy, wildlife watching, or the unveiling of an art piece we need you to come along to help us record the day! This may include; taking photos, filming, vox-popping, blogging, writing press features etc. We would also like our reporters to interview other volunteers, waterways staff, and passers-by to gather feedback and ideas for new projects and just generally show off what has been achieved. Your work will feature on ours and partners’ websites and newsletters, and local press. We will let you know about Waterways Action Squad events in your local area, and you can choose which ones you are able to come to. You will have guidance from marketing staff on writing up press releases, and also be able to use our camcorder to take short films and stills, and edit the material either using our software in our offices or at your home. -
