One Walk Event Crew - Nottingham - Saturday 10 May 2025

Our flagship One Walk events raise awareness and vital funds for type 1 diabetes. We're looking for Event Crew volunteers to help us make sure our event runs like clockwork, and to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for participants taking part in the walk.

Duties of a One Walk Event Crew volunteer include:

Setting up in the Event Village before walkers arrive.
Registering walkers as they arrive, and handing out their t-shirts.
Leading or stewarding the walkers along the route to make sure they’re going in the right direction.
Looking after the merchandise stall, or handing out information about Breakthrough T1D.
Handing out finishers’ medals when walkers return to the Event Village at the end of their walk.

You don’t need any specific skills or experience – you just need to be friendly and enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude. We’ll give you all the information you’ll need before you start your role.
