Embracing the Digital Revolution
In 2014, Vinspired embarked on a journey to revolutionize its digital presence. As our community and programs continue to evolve, so must our website. It’s time for a refresh, aligning with the ever-changing digital landscape.
Over the past few months, we’ve collaborated with Yoomee, a digital agency, to redesign our site through co-creation workshops. These sessions involved young people who use our online services and those who don’t, ensuring a user-centric design that truly resonates with our audience.
Young participants expressed their desire for a seamless journey across our programs and awards, integrated with their social profiles for easy interaction and sharing. They aspire to become alumni and advocates, inspiring future volunteers.
Our stakeholders, including organizations and staff, echoed the need for removing artificial boundaries between audiences, providing a clear vision across all that Vinspired offers. Our aim is to create a fun and engaging experience for our users, with a robust volunteering search feature that works seamlessly on mobile devices.
Continual Evolution
Building this new site is a significant undertaking. We are adopting a Lean approach — test, measure, learn, and repeat — to ensure its usability and relevance. Our new site, currently in beta, integrates the Igniter crowdfunding platform with Junction49 project support, optimizing for mobile responsiveness.
We’ve also begun incorporating our Team v program into the platform, launching campaigns like Love Is. This evolution is ongoing, striving to support all our initiatives.
