Help inspire your community to donate and keep our shops full of great-quality stock. Stock donations are at the heart of our shops, and this role is all about helping us find more of them. You’ll connect with people and organisations in the local community and encourage them to give unwanted items a new purpose.

Be part of the team behind the scenes that keeps everything moving. Our Warehouse Volunteers help make sure furniture and other donated items are safely received, organised and ready for customers. This is a hands-on role suited to people who enjoy practical tasks and being active.

Put your practical skills togood use and help give furniture a new lease of life. If you enjoy building, fixing and working with your hands, this could be a great role for you. You’ll help prepare furniture for display, sale and customer delivery.

Get out and about in the community and help our van drivers collect and deliver furniture safely and efficiently. As a Van Driver Support Volunteer, you’ll volunteer alongside our Retail Van Drivers to collect generous furniture donations and deliver purchased items to customers. It’s an active, hands-on role where you’ll meet lots of different people and play an important part in keeping donations and deliveries moving. This is a great role for someone who enjoys being active, volunteering as part of a team and getting out into the local community.

Help us make donated electrical items safe, presentable and ready for their next home. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical tasks and has an eye for detail. You’ll help prepare donated electrical goods for sale, making sure they meet the required safety standards and look their best.

Our shops promote sustainable shopping habits while raising vital funds for our cat companions. Central to their success are our shop volunteers who help with all aspects of the day-to-day running of our fantastic shops, serving customers, helping with stock rotation, creating displays, and everything in between!

Sea Cadets are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join its staff of Cadet Force Adult Volunteers. We are a established Sea Cadet unit that has provided life-changing opportunities for many young people. You'll assist or lead lessons, support with events or run competitions with young people aged between 9-18. Your experience and skills can help young people flourish – catering, archery, meteorology, navigation, orienteering, first aid, engineering, photography, marketing, football coaching, IT, social media, driving - there is no limit. Whatever your interest, you could bring it to Ross-On-Wye & Monmouth Unit. You could also share your skills out on the water with the next generation, through the opportunity to teach watersports such as kayaking, sailing, powerboating, canoeing, rowing and windsurfing. If you don’t have any watersport qualifications, we’ll provide you with all the equipment, training and the opportunity to gain national qualifications with the Royal Yachting Association, British Rowing and UK Paddle.

Volunteer as a Competition Judge with the English-Speaking Union and help young people develop the public speaking, listening and debating skills they need to thrive now and in their futures.

Together Media is Learn Together CIC’s community media project, producing accessible content about current affairs, social issues, education and local communities

Mencap Together is a befriending service for people with a learning disability registered with the Mencap Trust Company. Befrienders are matched by interests and visit monthly to build a one-to-one connection and reduce isolation.
