Yes, and it stays that way. Create your profile, find opportunities, log your volunteering and build your record at no cost. Organisations pay for their tools, you never do.
Can I volunteer independently?
Yes. You can log volunteering you do outside any organisation's programme, and have it verified by the organisation you helped, so it counts the same as everything else on your record.
Who can see my profile?
You do, until you decide otherwise. Your profile starts private and you choose whether to make it public. If you are under 18, it stays private unless you change it.
How do certificates and badges work?
Certificates are issued by organisations you volunteer with. Badges are earned for milestones, skills and impact areas. Both sit on your profile and you can share or download them.
Can I use my profile for job or school applications?
Yes. Your profile, certificates and skills are meant for exactly that. You can share a link to your profile and download the certificates you earn.
What if I stop for a few months?
Nothing happens. Your hours and awards never expire and there is no streak to lose. Come back whenever you want and pick up where you left off.
