The record is free on Vinspired for everyone. Some programme features are paid for by the organisations that use them, so that the platform never again depends on one funder. Here is why, in plain words.

Free is not a trial

Vinspired is free, and it will stay free. Everything vInspired was built to do, finding volunteering, doing it, and being recognised for it, costs nothing here. For as many people as you like and for as long as you like. No trial, no cap, no end date. Volunteers never pay to use Vinspired.

What is included

What free actually includes

Each column ends with the honest limit, because a reader who discovers one later trusts you less than one who was told.

Volunteers

  • Find volunteering near you, or anywhere in the UK
  • Log what you did, and have an organisation verify it
  • Earn certificates and badges, and keep them after you leave
  • Take your record with you, wherever you go next

Volunteers pay nothing, ever. There is no paid level for a person.

Charities and non-profits

  • Post opportunities and manage applications
  • Approve hours, and verify outside volunteering with a referee
  • Members, groups and messaging
  • Impact dashboard and CSV export

Free does not include public event pages, public sign up sheets or your own questions on a form.

Schools and colleges

  • Students log volunteering and keep it after they leave
  • You approve hours and issue the V10 to V100 certificates
  • Groups and private events with attendance
  • Impact totals and CSV export

Free does not include rosters without student accounts, club registers, bulk logging or the termly evidence export.

Companies

  • Company profile
  • Employees log and verify volunteering with local charities
  • Department groups and private events
  • Totals and CSV export

Free covers up to 25 employees, and does not include volunteering days with RSVP or a prepared evidence pack.

Why we can afford to do this

The first Vinspired depended on one funder, and when the funding stopped so did the charity. We rebuilt it as a company that pays for itself, so that never happens twice.

Organisations that run their own programme on Vinspired pay a flat annual amount. Schools that run a whole programme join an annual partnership. Those payments, and in time the people who support us directly, are what fund the free level.

This is the level the platform was rebuilt for. Everything else exists so that this one can stay free.

Promises

Four things that will not change

  1. Volunteers never pay to use Vinspired.

    Not to join, not to log hours, not for a certificate, not later. Supporting us is separate, and always optional.

  2. The record level is free for every organisation and school, permanently.

    With no cap on volunteers or students.

  3. No price per head.

    Nothing is priced per volunteer, per pupil, per hour or per certificate.

  4. Nothing is deleted for non payment.

    Stop paying and you move to the free level with every record intact.
