The Challenge

Student volunteering is often unstructured and hard to prove

Scattered across tools

Volunteering lives in spreadsheets, email chains, and WhatsApp groups with no central record.

Staff time wasted chasing

Teachers and coordinators spend hours chasing attendance, hours, and evidence manually.

Opportunities miss the right students

Without targeting, the right students never see the right roles.

Reporting is manual

For awards, references, and partnerships, proving impact takes too long.

Vinspired turns volunteering into an organised programme with clear participation and measurable impact.

How It Works

Organise, publish, coordinate, and report

A simple end to end flow for managing student volunteering across your school or college.

Create groups

Clubs, year cohorts, and programmes with controlled visibility and access.

Manage memberships

Only approved students can access private content and opportunities.

Publish opportunities

To a specific group or to the wider platform, with full control.

Message students

Collectively to coordinate volunteers and reduce drop offs.

Track student participation and build your school impact profile

Automatically over time, giving staff, governors, and partners a clear picture of your school's contribution.

Feature Spotlight

Groups let you target the right students

Create groups for any purpose and control who sees what. Opportunities published to a group stay private and are not visible on the wider platform.

FAQ

Common questions

What does it cost?

Every student keeps their record for free, with no student cap. Schools running a whole programme join an annual partnership, sized by pupils on roll and invoiced once a year against a purchase order. Nothing is priced per pupil. The ladder is on the pricing page for schools and colleges.

Can we keep opportunities private to a group?

Yes. You can publish opportunities to a specific group so only those members can see and apply. This is useful for internal programmes, mentoring cohorts, and club activities.

Can students join groups without approval?

It depends on how you set it up. Groups can be open join or require approval from a staff admin before students are added.

Can we message selected students in bulk?

Yes. You can send messages to all students selected for an opportunity, or to all members of a group, from one place.

Can we track volunteering by year group and club?

Yes. Groups map directly to year groups, clubs, or programmes. You can view participation, hours, and outcomes at the group level and at the school level.

Can we issue certificates for student volunteering?

Yes. Certificates recognise volunteering milestones and are verified digital credentials. Badges are also available for specific skills and achievements. School branded certificate templates are set up by us today, and move into your own hands with the Partnership level.

What does the public school profile actually show?

Total student hours, volunteers accepted, active opportunities, approved awards, impact areas, skills, groups, events and stories. Trend charts by term and cohort breakdowns are not built yet, so for those you export the participation CSV.

Where does our student data sit, and who can see it?

Your school is the data controller and we are the processor. Student profiles default to private, sensitive classifications such as Pupil Premium are encrypted at rest, and students never see their own classification tags. The full terms are in the Trust Centre.
