Man United Fans – The Most Kind Hearted In The Country?

It’s time to celebrate the first batch of Make the Team winners! Eleven lucky fans have won tickets to see their favorite Premier League clubs live. And the excitement doesn’t stop there—we have more tickets to give away! To participate, simply upload a photo of yourself volunteering, select your favorite team, and enter our prize draw for a chance to win match tickets.

Applicants are pouring in from the North West of England, with Manchester United fans showing their generosity by contributing a remarkable 28% of the entries. Close behind are Liverpool fans. Here’s a breakdown of the top five most giving fans in our competition:

  1. Manchester United
  2. Liverpool
  3. Arsenal
  4. Chelsea
  5. Manchester City

The competition is far from over! We’ll tally all entries to crown the most generous fan base by the end of the competition. Even if your team’s performance on the field hasn’t been stellar, there’s still a chance for them to lead the league in generosity!

We often hear about footballers’ achievements on the pitch, but what about their charitable efforts off the pitch? Many young people (62%) feel the positive actions of footballers often go unnoticed amidst negative media coverage. With this in mind, we surveyed to find your most inspirational players off the pitch. Here are the top five results:

  1. David Beckham
    • Patron of the Victoria and David Beckham Charitable Trust, which has donated over £1 million to charity. Worked with Comic Relief, Help For Heroes, and UNICEF.
  2. Alan Shearer
    • Ambassador for NSPCC, participated in the Special Olympics Unity Cup at the World Cup in South Africa, and donated £1.6 million testimonial money to North East charities.
  3. Gary Lineker
    • Longtime supporter of Children With Leukaemia, ambassador for Cancer Research UK, and CLIC Sargent.
  4. Frank Lampard
    • Supports several cancer charities, including CLIC Sargent and Teenage Cancer Trust.
  5. Ryan Giggs
    • Donated to the Royal College Of Nursing and serves as a UK ambassador for UNICEF.
