About Me
ReachOut is a national mentoring and education charity, rooted in local communities. Working in under-resourced areas, we support young people who are in need of a positive role model to grow in character and confidence, sparking change in themselves and society. Character, Confidence and Change is at the heart of everything that we do. The high quality, intensive programmes we deliver therefore go far beyond academic tutoring. We believe that building character and self-confidence is key in helping young people to thrive. Our ReachOut projects help young people to develop this through a combination of 1:1 mentoring and group activities that encourage leadership, trust and responsibility. Our mentors volunteer for two hours per week, working in one of our projects with a young person over the course of the school year.
