Your Role in Creating Change

We need organised and passionate individuals who want to support and facilitate Community Groups for autistic adults in their local community. Our groups are designed to help autistic adults to meet in a welcoming and non-judgmental setting. We need friendly and caring volunteers to make this happen.

What you will be doing?

- Welcome new members to the group and help them settle in.
- Support members to participate in group activities.
- Help make suggestions about new group activities.
- Help send feedback about the group to Autism Hampshire staff.
- Keep an accurate record of attendance at the group.
- Report any concerns to Autism Hampshire staff.

The Lyndhurst (New Forest) Serendipity Community Group runs twice a month on Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm.

Full training for the role will be provided with regular quarterly training sessions.

Whilst we value regular commitment, you will be joining a team, so you do not need to be available for every session. Please make your availability known to Autism Hampshire staff when registering your interest.
