Bow Bear Mascot
Due to the popularity of the Rainbows mascot, Bow Bear, their diary is quickly filling up. We are looking for volunteers with a sense of fun and energy who can wear the Bow Bear costume for marketing purposes and at events across the East Midlands. Bow Bear is hugely important at raising the Rainbows profile, upholding the values of Rainbows and spreading fun and happiness to everyone they meet.

Your Role in Creating Change
Typical tasks the role could involve:
- Step into the spotlight as Bow Bear at a variety of exciting events!
- Be a star: Pose for photos and shine in videos to support our Marketing Team.
- Champion our cause: Raise awareness and amplify Rainbows’ impact, strengthening our identity and brand.
- Spread joy and laughter: Engage with people nonverbally, creating memorable moments and lasting smiles.
Will it suit me?
This volunteer position is ideal if you enjoy attending events and are friendly, outgoing, confident, and enthusiastic. This opportunity would also be suited to a group of friends wanting to volunteer together as you can take turns being Bow Bear or serve as Bow Bear’s guide/helpers. You will need to be strong and physically fit to be able to stand for a period of time because of the weight of the costume, although regular breaks will be provided.

- This role is on an ad-hoc basis. We ask for 1-2 hours (with regular breaks). The location of this role is across the East Midlands.
