Retail Assistant - Crosby, College Road
Do you want to make a difference? Volunteers are needed to help raise funds for medical research into finding a cure for lung cancer.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support the fantastic work in our Crosby, College Road retail shop. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in all aspects of retail. You will be trained in • Customer service • Serving customers at the till • Signing up new Gift Aid donors • Taking receipt of stock donations • Replenishing stock ensuring the shop is well-stocked, visually appealing and tidy • Sorting and steaming stock As well as on the job training you will also be given the opportunity to gain qualifications in retail through our partnership with Derby College. We arwe currently looking for volunteers to help out on: Thursday - afternoon Friday - afternoon Saturday - morning & afternoon Sunday - morning & afternoon If you are interested in any of the above days and would like to get into retail, we would love to hear from you. Our dedicated volunteers play an important role in the success of our shops, and this is where you come in. We are looking for volunteers to play a curial role in our retail shop in Crosby, College Road. The role is to assist in the smooth running of the shop, which stocks a variety of donated goods from clothes, bric-a-brac, books and 'new' stock items.
