Summary of Role:
We are looking for volunteers to support our hospice and local community in a variety of meaningful ways. Opportunities include:
- Providing compassionate, practical, and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Helping individuals through their grief journey with sensitivity and care.
- Getting involved in community events and activities to raise awareness and funds.
- Using your retail or sales skills to make a difference in our charity shops.
The skills / experience / personal qualities you will need:
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and create a non-judgmental and supportive environment.
· Ability to maintain boundaries.
· Reliable and punctual.
· Must be based in the UK.
The training and support you will be given will include:
· Volunteer Induction.
· Role Specific Training.

- Bereavement support, tailored to a person’s needs – whether their loss was recent or a long time ago
- Community-based services to help support local people’s overall wellbeing
