Keech Hospice Care is in need of committed volunteers to assist the Manager in the everyday running of the shop.

Tasks
To welcome, assist and serve our customers in a warm and friendly way providing a good standard of customer service. To ensure Gift Aid is explained and promoted to all our donors, thanking them for their contribution. To promote public understanding of Keech Hospice's work and importance of fundraising, including promoting Hospice events and activities to the public. Help sort, steam, hang and dispay our donated stock and rotate stock. Dealing with customer purchases, confidently process the cash handling and accurate operation of the till.
Skills
Honest, trustworthy and respectful. Enthusiastic with a positive attitude. Good communication and numeracy skills. reliable, committed and flexible. Enjoy interacting with customers and working as part of a team as well as under your own initiative.
Training
Health and safety training will be completed onsite.
Dress code
Well presented smart/casual appearance and appropriately comfortable footwear to be worn. Volunteer badge to be worn while volunteering.
Availability
Time, commitment and availability can be discussed and agreed with the Shop Manager. Where possible to be able to work four hours a week i.e. 9am-1pm / 1-5pm
