About this Opportunity

You’ll be part of a team of volunteers who plan and run weekly meetings where girls explore new ideas, gain new skills, build friendships and have lots of fun. You could be showing 5-year-olds how to start a campfire, creating a mini festival for 8-year-olds or helping 12-year-olds start an upcycling revolution. Find out more about our programme.

What to Expect After Applying

Once you have registered interest one of the team will be in touch to discuss what you might like to do in terms of your placement and aspirations. From there you will be introduced to a Unit.

About the Organisation

Girlguiding Bexleyheath and Welling

Girlguiding in Bexleyheath and Welling has a long history, our Units have been open and welcoming young members for the best part of a century. We are now looking for more volunteers to join our teams to help lead the next generation of young women. We build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations. We give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good. We give them a space to have fun. We run Rainbows (5–7 years), Brownies (7–10 years), Guides (10–14 years) and Rangers (14–18 years). With over 350 young members in our Division and many waiting to join, we have opportunities for new volunteers to help us expand our Units. Please get in touch if you're interested!
