
Mighty Girls Ambassador
Become a Mighty Girls Ambassador and have your say on what matters to girls and young women, while building confidence and making new friends. You’ll meet every couple of months (in person or online) to share ideas, help plan events, and shape what Mighty Girls does in Wiltshire and Bath. You’ll also get volunteering hours, fun experiences, training, and chances to be part of exciting activities.

About Mighty Girls
Mighty Girls CIC is a Community Interest Company, which means we work for the benefit of our local community. We are a youth-led organisation, so young people help guide what we do, what we focus on, and what matters most.
Our ambassadors work closely with the Board of Directors and Founding Director to make sure decisions are informed by what is important to young women and girls.
About Mighty Girls Ambassadors
The ambassador team is made up of 6 young people under 18. The group meets at least every two months and:
● Talk about news and issues affecting young women and girls
● Shares ideas and feedback from friends and peers
● Helps shape Mighty Girls’ activities, events, and goals
We meet in-person at our office based in Bradford-on-Avon and also online.
Responsibilities
As a Mighty Girls Ambassador, you will:
● Take part in ambassador meetings and share your views
● Talk to other Mighty Girls and young people to gather ideas and opinions
● Give feedback on Mighty Girls’ plans, goals, and aspirations
● Help plan and support activities and events when you can (e.g., quizzes, town fairs, workshops, days out)
● Help out at events by welcoming people, helping at stands or activities, and making others feel included
Being ‘active’ means getting involved in your own way, listening to others, communicating with other Mighty Girls and your friends, and letting us know what you can and can’t do.
Requirements
● Attend ambassador meetings either in-person or online every two months
● Help out at activities and events when you can
● Take part in discussions and try your best to get involved
● Have an optimistic attitude and be willing to help where possible
