As a training dog fosterer, you'll be giving a dog in training a loving home whilst they embark on their journey to become a guide dog. You'll get to see the progress your furry companion is making in their training and be a vital part of their journey, without the commitment of looking after a dog full time.

Trailblazers’ mission is to reduce re-offending and inspire new futures for young men leaving prison. As a volunteer mentor, you’ll help someone reconnect with their community, rebuild relationships, and access education, training, or employment—offering hope and a fresh start. All we ask is that you bring a genuine passion for social change and can commit to supporting at least one young man for up to 18 months—providing the consistency and encouragement that many of our mentees have never had.

Use your skills and experiences to meet a young person on a 1-2-1 basis and help on their journey to get to where they want to be. With 89% of the young people we work with saying that having a mentor has improved their life, your skills and experiences will have a positive impact.

As mentor to a young person between the ages of 11-16, you will meet together on a weekly basis initially at your mentee's school, encouraging and motivating your mentee to make steps towards positive change.

Our Shop Volunteers are an important part of the work we do at Princess Alice Hospice. On over 40 high streets, they help our shops turn takings directly into outstanding care.
