Communication Support Volunteers are an essential part of our work for reaching and supporting different communities. Our partners in the community hold events across the UK and online. Your support will help assist communication by translating between English and British Sign Language (BSL), ensuring attendees have a positive experience! You will provide informal communication support (this is not a qualified interpreter role). You may be on your own, or as part of a team so you’ll need to be enthusiastic and motivated.

SWAN are in need of volunteers to drive passengers in their own vehicles to vital health and wellbeing appointments. Passengers are usually those on lower incomes, disabled, elderly, frail or infirm. SWAN focusses on tackling loneliness and keeping our rural communities connected and mobile.

You will have a keen interest in the countryside and be excited by the prospect of helping to direct the future of CPRE Buckinghamshire over the next 5–7 years. It is an exciting time to join our team, as CPRE nationally is celebrating 100 years in 2026; you can be involved in making plans as to how we will celebrate this with the Buckinghamshire community through various events and activities.
