I volunteered at a booth at the event teaching different children (age below 12) with special needs and their family how to DIY a perfume bag, keeping track of the register upon arrival, and setting up the location with other volunteers beforehand. Throughout the experience, I not only learned to communicate with people according to their age and needs but also demonstrated team working skills through working with others while setting up the location to ensure that the event runs smoothly.

I taught kindergarteners basic visual games in the lesson as well as learning to communicate with them through observing their actions and keeping them towards the completion of tasks.

I have been an volunteer administration at the youth singing competition which includes making sure all competitors have arrived (marking it down) and giving out voting sheets for audiences to vote.

We led under privileged youths to the movie theatre, taking the role as a leader to develop my leadership skills while communicating with people in a non-judgemental manner. The session ended with the group of volunteers reflecting on the experience and analysing why and why didn't things go well. As well as what could have been done better. It has been a fulfilling experience.

I volunteered by bring children to the Hong Kong Art Museum and have toured around with them alongside building up my communicational skills with children having special needs (learning disabilities).

The experience includes packing medicine, taking heights and weights of patients as well as shadowing a general practitioner. It not only helps me gain valuable insights into being in the medical world but also helps me develop a crucial soft skill, empathy when interacting with patients. It has been such a fulfilling experience.
