Our Volunteers are at the heart of the day to day running of our shops. We thank you for your time given to the charity. The shops provide much needed income to provide nursing care for our patients. Our purpose is to care for our patients and to support their families and friends. Whilst aiming to provide the most efficient and provide appropriate care, both physically and emotionally in their home or at the Hospice.

Are you passionate about videography and looking for a meaningful way to use your skills? Blood Cancer UK is seeking talented and enthusiastic volunteer videographers to help capture our events and community activities across the UK.

Keep Active is a volunteer delivered care service, run in partnership with the local NHS rehabilitation teams. Keep Active helps older people back to fitness after a fall or illness. Volunteers are matched with clients and visit them weekly for up to nine weeks providing encouragement and support to continue working on their mobility goals. This could include helping with an indoor exercise programme, accompanying someone outdoors or encouraging with stair practice. Volunteers are specially trained by rehabilitation therapists and DBS checked.

We are looking for volunteers to join our Hammersmith and Liverpool Street sites. Helping Volunteers are responsible for welcoming visitors onto our premises, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere (along with a cup of tea), and supporting our Listening Volunteers to help everything run smoothly.
