What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Vinspired uses as few as it can: only the ones the site needs to work, or that you ask for by ticking a box or closing a message.

Each of these is strictly necessary for something you asked for, so the law does not require us to ask for your consent first. None of them is used to follow you across other websites.

Cookies set by Cloudflare

Cloudflare sits in front of vinspired.com to keep it fast and protect it from attacks. It may set __cf_bm, which helps it tell people from automated traffic and lasts 30 minutes, and cf_clearance if it ever asks you to complete a security check, so that it does not ask again straight away. These are security cookies and are strictly necessary.

Payment cookies

Vinspired sets no payment cookies, because no part of paying happens here. When you start a payment we send you to Stripe’s own checkout page, at Stripe’s own address. You enter your card there, and Stripe sends you back to us when it is done. Stripe’s script never runs on vinspired.com, so browsing the site, reading a page or applying for an opportunity sets no Stripe cookie at all.

Stripe sets its own cookies on its own pages, to check that the payment is not fraudulent. Those are Stripe’s cookies under Stripe’s policy, and they are strictly necessary for taking a payment safely, so they do not need your consent. Your card number never reaches us at any point. Stripe’s handling of the data is covered in our privacy policy and our sub-processor list.

Managing what you already pay for stays on Vinspired. Your billing page, changing or stopping a plan, and your receipts all run on our own pages with no payment script. Changing the card itself opens Stripe’s billing portal, again at Stripe’s own address.

No analytics or advertising cookies

Our website analytics is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device and reads nothing from it, which is why you are not asked to accept cookies when you arrive. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third party marketing cookies. Section 13 of our privacy policy explains how visits are counted without a cookie.

Managing cookies

You can delete cookies, or block them, in your browser’s settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in.
