About Us
Centrepoint is a national charity working to improve the lives of socially excluded homeless young people.
We provide a range of accommodation based services, including emergency night shelters and short stay hostels, specialist projects for care leavers, ex-offenders, young single parents, foyers and supported flats and floating support services.
From these accommodation based services, Centrepoint helps young people to turn their lives around by gaining essential life skills; tackling physical and mental health issues and moving into education or employment.
Our volunteers play a very important role in that. From being a mentor to helping paint a hostel that our young people call home; we value every volunteers contribution to our organisation.

Independent life Skills Volunteer - Cooking (Ealing)
As an Independent Life Skills volunteer, you will be supporting the delivery of our Lifewise Programme. This role will focus on cooking and we need a volunteer to work with the young people to help them choose what meals to make, supervise and assist with the cooking, plating up the food and then also with washing and tidying up afterwards.
Learner Coach ESOL (Ealing)
The service has a few young people that need assistance learning English and this role is to support the education that they are getting from college. You will be supporting a small group of young people with their studies and provide them with assistance with their homework and their wider learning of English.
Fitness Facililtator (Barnet)
The Centrepoint Activities Team work with services and young people to organise engagement opportunities including arts and sports activities. The aim of these activities is to encourage participation, reduce isolation and build confidence of the young people. You will gain support and supervision from the Activities Team to allow you to thrive in this role.
