2012 vInspired National Awards Finalists Announced
The 2012 vInspired National Awards finalists have been announced, celebrating the incredible achievements of young volunteers across the country. These awards recognize the passion and dedication of young individuals who have made significant contributions in various fields, from civic engagement to entrepreneurship & innovation.
Celebrating Remarkable Contributions
Recently, we had the opportunity to meet the finalists, who are among the most inspirational young people and youth workers in the nation. They visited London for a photoshoot and filming session, marking a significant moment in their volunteering journeys. When asked about their feelings on reaching the finals, many expressed gratitude to their nominators, emphasizing that their motivation extends beyond winning awards.
The True Essence of Volunteering
Our finalists showcase a remarkable selflessness and energy, engaging in activities such as football coaching, dance, and supporting young people with mental health issues. They demonstrate that volunteering is not just about gaining skills and experience but about the joy of making a difference in others’ lives. As one finalist shared, “I just love knowing I’ve put a smile on their faces.”
Inspiring Others to Make a Difference
Although the recognition from the awards is significant, the real reward for these young volunteers is the impact they have on their communities. Their stories inspire others to consider their own passions and the positive changes they can bring about.
Upcoming Awards Ceremony
The action-packed awards ceremony will take place on 22 March. Stay tuned for further updates and details! You can also explore more about our amazing regional winners and national awards finalists on our vInspired National Awards pages.
