Koko, an 18-year-old from London, took the spotlight in our Ministry of Sound DJ Academy course competition. She will soon be attending the prestigious Ministry of Sound DJ Academy on August 31 to learn from some of the best DJs in the industry. Well done, Koko!

Koko’s winning choice was a mash-up featuring Sun Is Shining by Bob Marley, infused with Jamie XX’s beats. Her selection resonated with the values of positivity and joy, qualities that are central to our community of young volunteers. The Ministry of Sound DJ Academy was impressed by her creativity and innovation.

In collaboration with the MoS DJ Academy, we have compiled a playlist of the top ten tracks selected from all entries. Available for download for £8.99, 50% of the proceeds will support our ongoing initiatives with young people.
