Vinspired Appoints New Chief Executive
We are excited to announce the appointment of Moira Swinbank OBE as the new Chief Executive of Vinspired. She succeeds Terry Ryall, the founding CEO, who will step down at the end of March 2014 to pursue new projects in the USA and dedicate more time to sailing.
David Frost CBE, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Vinspired, shared his enthusiasm for the appointment:
“The trustees of Vinspired are thrilled to have found someone with Moira’s outstanding track record to lead the organization. Her creative and commercial expertise, coupled with her deep understanding of volunteering and community action, will help us continue to innovate and lead in youth social action.”
Moira, currently the CEO of Legacy Trust UK and former CEO of TimeBank, expressed her delight:
“I am honored to become the Chief Executive of Vinspired. This role allows me to bring my experience in volunteering and my passion for working with young people. I aim to build on Vinspired’s success, reaching young people across the UK through its innovative programs.”
Terry Ryall, the founding CEO of Vinspired, commented:
“I am confident that Moira will cherish Vinspired as I have, keeping young people at its heart. Through our innovative programs, we not only enable youth across the country to engage in their communities but also link volunteering with employment opportunities. Moira’s extensive experience will propel Vinspired to new heights.”
