Starting her journey with St. John Ambulance at the age of ten, she has now amassed over 1,000 hours of volunteering.

How does it feel to be our Volunteer of the Month winner?
“It’s quite exciting because I knew nothing about it.”
Tell us about your volunteering
“I mainly work with St. John’s. I started as a youth cadet providing first aid at public events, and now I train youth cadets.”
Most memorable volunteering moment?
“Volunteering at the Cadet of the Year Awards, seeing young cadets I trained being rewarded.”
Skills gained through volunteering?
“Loads! Mainly leadership and communication skills.”
Lessons from your volunteering experience?
“I have more confidence in myself than I thought I would ever have.”
What would you be doing instead?
“I’d probably be watching TV. Volunteering confirmed my passion for becoming a paramedic.”
