Exciting Leadership Change at Vinspired: New Chairman Appointed
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our new Chairman, enhancing our leadership team at Vinspired. On November 8, 2012, David Frost CBE formally assumed his role, bringing a wealth of experience and a strategic vision to our platform, which connects volunteers and rewards their efforts with digital awards.
David Frost’s impressive career includes his tenure as Director-General of the British Chambers of Commerce, where he advocated for over 100,000 UK businesses, earning him a CBE in 2011. He currently chairs the Studio Schools Trust and the National Network of Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), and serves as Executive Chairman of the National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education.
David succeeds Sir Rod Aldridge, who has been pivotal to Vinspired’s success since its inception in 2005.
Terry Ryall, CEO of Vinspired, commented, “David’s extensive experience across corporate, educational, and political sectors will be invaluable as we continue to empower young people to engage in meaningful volunteer work. We extend our deepest gratitude to Sir Rod for his remarkable leadership over the past seven years, which has been crucial in elevating Vinspired as a vibrant supporter of youth initiatives.”
David Frost remarked, “I am delighted to join Vinspired at a time of dynamic change and growth. Our new funding avenues and opportunities allow us to better support young people, offering innovative solutions and earning digital awards through Vinspired activities. I am eager to collaborate with the Board, staff, and the vibrant community of young volunteers who are the heart of Vinspired.”
