Emma Wiscour-Conter
I am a university student at UCL studying anthropology. As a career, I would like to work in People's culture within the Human Resource sector as my passion is to help improve equity within our society and ensure the well-being of others. I have grown up moving around numerous places, having lived in 4 countries and 6 different cities. I speak fluently both French and English. I am biracial and have been exposed to numerous cultures growing up. My past experiences are: - Year 2 Academic Representative of the UCL Anthropology Department (2023-2024) - Successfully organized a book club in high school discussing global issues - Led and taught an English debating club in high school at the Athenée de Luxembourg - Organized Model UN event and met with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola - Internship with the CCC (Citizen’s Committee for Children) in New York suggesting improvements for high school students in underserved neighbourhoods to the office of the Mayor of New York - One of the few selected to be part of the Leadership club in middle school
