Your Role in Creating Change

This is a sociable role working with a truly lovely team, which suits the volunteers who don't like to be idle.  It can be demanding work at times but there's also lots of chat and laughter to. Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will support the kitchen staff with food preparation.

Typical tasks include: 
1.To support the catering team in food preparation. 
2.To take direction from Catering Manager/kitchen staff regarding kitchen duties.
3.To ensure work areas are clean.
4.Maintain the beverage station. 
5.Take patients lunch and tea time meal orders.
6.Provide our patients with the best experience we can offer, with both our food and service.
7.Any other general duties as required

Today, the hospice offers high-quality, professional nursing care within a peaceful, home from home environment surrounded by 12 acres of beautiful woodland gardens.

We care for around 200 patients, and their families, every year from across a diverse geographical area, which includes Sefton, Liverpool and West Lancashire.
