Your Role in Creating Change

  • Become a Buddy with BuddyUp!
    What You'll Do:
As a Buddy (volunteers aged 16+), you'll be matched with a young person with similar availability and interest to you to go on outings together in the local area.

We've seen how important it is for young people to have more socialising outside of the family home, helping them navigate public transport, explore their community and most importantly - have fun together! Whether it’s going to the cinema, painting pottery or bowling, you’ll spend 1-2hrs together 2x a month for 6 months (min) to help make a real change in the life of another.

About Richmond AID: Richmond AID is a local charity dedicated to empowering disabled people across all ages and needs. Our mission is to support independent living and ensure everyone has equal opportunities to thrive.
