Why we want you
Culture to You is a new offer aimed at providing 'at home' access to collections of art, museum handling objects, and cultural activities to people unable to get to our heritage and library sites. We're looking for volunteers to support our pilot in the Oadby and Wigston area.
What you will be doing
Delivery and display of artworks and objects, to and in our clients’ homes.

- Befriending & exploring connections though creativity, learning and reminiscence with clients.
- Supporting the evaluation of the pilot project and help shape its future development
The skills you need
Interested in art/culture/history and its role in supporting peoples wellbeing
Interested in art/culture/history and its role in supporting peoples wellbeing
- Friendly and confident engaging with and befriending a diverse range of people
- An effective communicator
- Able to drive and willing to travel (In the Oadby and Wigston area)
- Able to carry and transport objects and artworks
- Willing to undertake a DBS check and training to help carry out this role
