
Fundraising Officer
Help us raise the funds needed to save lives in our communities. As a Fundraising Officer, you will support the charity by developing fundraising ideas, assisting with events, engaging with local businesses and community groups, and helping to secure donations and sponsorship. Your efforts will directly support Community First Responders, CPR & AED awareness sessions, and Public Access Defibrillator projects across the North West. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about making a positive difference in their community. No previous fundraising experience is required, and full support will be provided.

Fundraising Officer – North West First Responder Group
North West First Responder Group (NWFRG) is a volunteer-led charity that supports Community First Responders, delivers free CPR and AED awareness sessions, and funds, installs, and maintains Public Access Defibrillators across communities in the North West.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Fundraising Officers to help generate the income needed to support our vital work. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, developing new ideas, and making a tangible difference within their local community.
As a Fundraising Officer, you will play an important role in helping the charity secure funding through community fundraising, donations, sponsorship, grant opportunities, and fundraising events.
What will you do?
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting and organising fundraising events and activities.
- Developing new fundraising ideas and initiatives.
- Building relationships with local businesses, organisations, and community groups.
- Assisting with sponsorship and donation requests.
- Helping to identify and research potential grant opportunities.
- Promoting fundraising campaigns through social media and community engagement.
- Attending charity events and representing NWFRG professionally.
- Supporting the Communications & Fundraising Team with ongoing campaigns and projects.
- Helping to raise awareness of the charity and its impact within local communities.
