About this Opportunity

As a Volunteer Craft Leader at Crafternoons, you will help create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where children aged 5–11 can explore Bible stories through creative, hands-on craft activities. Working as part of the holiday club team, you will guide children in making age-appropriate crafts inspired by weekly Christian themes, helping bring scripture to life in an engaging and memorable way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and lead simple craft activities linked to Bible stories and Christian values
  • Support children as they create, encouraging imagination, participation, and confidence
  • Explain craft activities in a clear, enthusiastic, and child-friendly way
  • Help children understand the Bible story or message behind each craft
  • Ensure all activities are safe, inclusive, and suitable for ages 5–11
  • Prepare and tidy craft materials before and after sessions
  • Work alongside other volunteers and leaders to create a positive holiday club experience
  • Encourage kindness, teamwork, and respectful behaviour
