What is micro-volunteering?

Micro-volunteering is a way to contribute to a good cause even if you don’t have time for a regular and ongoing commitment. Micro-volunteering can be done as a one off, every now and again or whenever suits you.

Who is it for?

Ideally, we ask volunteers to be 18+ but if you are  younger then 18 ( with  parent/guardian consent signed) and happy to work according to our organisation’s values  please apply. We ask that you are ready to fully commit to the tasks you sign up for. Beyond that, you don’t need any particular skills or experience and the opportunity is open to all.

How does it work?

Our application and onboarding process is designed to be very simple with no DBS checks, references or long winded forms and training to complete. For this reason micro-volunteers do not work directly with our clients but they might do equally important tasks in the background. We will send out regular updates with one off and ongoing tasks – you can put your hand up for whatever you have time for.

What will I do?

There is a huge range of tasks available. You could get involved in supporting our social media and marketing work, attending fundraising events or helping transport practical items to our teams. If you have a particular skill that you would like to contribute, please let us know!
