About Solihull Conservation Volunteers
We are a small friendly practical conservation charity, carrying out a wide variety of conservation tasks right across the Solihull area. We work on two Sundays a month for most of the day but you can work the times that suit you. Training will be provided by our experienced volunteers and everybody should have a good time. We can provide tea, coffee as well as all tools and equipment required, as well as waterproofs, yes, we do go out when it is raining!. No experience is required as training and all tools and equipment will be provided.
People have volunteered with us to gain skills for volunteer work abroad or for the Duke of Edinburgh's award and similar projects. All you need to bring is sturdy boots of shoes and wear old clothes appropriate for the weather and task. If you are going to stay all day please bring a packed lunch, we can provide tea and coffee.
