- able to engage well with young people and their carers?

- organised and able to carry out basic administration tasks?
- able to spare 10-15 hours a week? Times can be flexible to suit the service and the right person, however early evening availability (3-6) to accommodate visits to young people would be needed.
- a driver with business insurance.

Asist provides:* specialist independent advocacy support focused on one-to-one, issue-based advocacy for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and/or mental health issues.*Independent Visitors (IVs) are volunteers who offer confidential support to a young person in care, separate from social services. We carefully match each young person with the right volunteer based on shared interests.
