vInspired is dedicated to providing young people with opportunities to engage in meaningful volunteer work that aligns with their passions. At the 2012 vInspired National Awards ceremony, we had the privilege of collaborating with 10 exceptional young volunteers who played a crucial role in making the event a remarkable success.
We were overwhelmed by the response, receiving over 90 applications from aspiring volunteers. With the invaluable assistance of our Youth Advisory Board, we meticulously selected 10 volunteers who excelled in various roles, from backstage management to photography and DJing.
These volunteers brought a diverse array of skills and experiences to the table. Some had backgrounds in entertainment, such as working on EastEnders or DJing across Europe, but they all shared a common passion for volunteering. Whether they were seasoned volunteers or experiencing it for the first time, each contributed to making the evening unforgettable.
In a time when youth unemployment remains high, volunteering at the National Awards provided these young individuals with not only an exciting experience but also a valuable addition to their resumes. vInspired National Awards: A night to remember showcased the organization’s commitment to empowering young people and highlighting their achievements.
