These three words perfectly encapsulate the recent public speaking training session held by Vinspired’s Youth Advisory Board in partnership with SpeakersTrust. Our goals for the day were clear:

Developing Public Speaking Skills
The level of public speaking experience varied among members—from beginners to those who have addressed large conferences. To ensure everyone was on the same page, we began with the fundamentals, which proved beneficial for all participants.
We then set personal goals to focus on, which included building confidence and addressing nervous habits like leg twitching. A memorable moment was the storytelling session, where one member shared their unique fear of ducks.
Afternoon Speeches: Passion and Purpose
The afternoon was dedicated to preparing speeches that highlighted our individual passions. Topics ranged from tackling unemployment to fostering innovation. This session not only revealed our dedication to civic engagement but also solidified our commitment to continue developing our public speaking skills. Bring on Level 2!
