Do you have a spare hour or two a week and want to help change the life of a child in Gloucestershire? We're looking for volunteers to hear children read, twice a week, for 15-20 minutes. Our volunteers provide one to one time. This creates discussion which in turn improves social and communication skills and builds confidence, enhancing their life chances.

The Centrepoint Activities Team work with services and young people to organise engagement opportunities including arts and sports activities. The aim of these activities is to encourage participation, reduce isolation and build confidence of the young people. You will gain support and supervision from the Activities Team to allow you to thrive in this role.

Centrepoint Helpline is a national helpline which provides information and advice to under 25’s who are homeless or at risk of homeless. We are looking for enthusiastic gardeners to help maintain our lovely gardens for our residents to enjoy. Do you want to improve the lives of older people? Do you love gardening? Do you have a couple of hours a week to spare?

Could you help to celebrate, cheer, wave and encourage more than 400 runners donning their Teenage Cancer Trust shirts and taking on 26.2 miles to raise funds for young people with cancer.

Lake View is a beautiful 60 bedded care home for the elderly. There is a coffee shop and cinema lounge within the home and we would like passionate volunteers to help run them over the weekend.
