About the Role
Appropriate adults are required to attend the police stations custody suite when a 10–17-year-olds has been arrested and detained by the police. The role is to ensure that while in custody the young person's welfare needs are meet and that they are supported to communicate with the police. You will support, advise and assist the young person, particularly while they are being formally interviewed.
