Friendly drivers needed to take the people we support out to activities, appointments and outings for a few hours a week. Volunteers will be accompanied by a member of staff and will not need to to use their own cars.

Help make a difference in your community by supporting the work of North West First Responder Group. Our Support Volunteers assist with fundraising events, community engagement activities, CPR & AED awareness sessions, administration, and public access defibrillator projects. This flexible role is ideal for anyone who wants to contribute to a life-saving charity without being a Community First Responder. No previous experience is required – just enthusiasm, reliability, and a passion for helping others. Every hour you give helps us support volunteers, educate communities, and improve access to defibrillators across the North West.

We’re looking for a friendly, organised person to become our Walk Leader Coordinator — someone who enjoys supporting others, keeping things running smoothly, and helping volunteers feel valued and confident in their role. You’ll be the go-to person for our walk leaders.

The Admissions Assistant role focuses on creating a welcoming, memorable visitor experience. You’ll greet and engage visitors, share information about the museum and its collection, sell tickets and gift shop items, and support Gift Aid and marketing data collection. You’ll help visitors explore the Museum by answering questions and distributing trails, accessibility information and family activities, You will also help maintain the gift shop through restocking and displays, assist with online research, and help promote the Museum locally.
