Trailblazers’ mission is to reduce re-offending and inspire new futures for young men leaving prison. As a volunteer mentor, you’ll help someone reconnect with their community, rebuild relationships, and access education, training, or employment—offering hope and a fresh start. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and skill sets. All we ask is that you bring a genuine passion for social change and can commit to supporting at least one young man for up to 12 months—providing the consistency and encouragement that many of our mentees have never had.

Our Family Befrienders support parents and families; volunteers will aim to help families/single parents to discover their strengths, build confidence, and resolve difficulties. Volunteers meet with their family weekly or fortnightly for a period of 6 to 12 months.

Our Big Buddies support young people, aged 10-18, in the boroughs Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham and Brent, for a few hours weekly or fortnightly over a period of 6 or 12 months. With encouragement and support, volunteers will aim to help young people to discover their strengths, build confidence, and resolve difficulties.

Support our pilot of Culture to You in the Oadby and Wigston area! Deliver and explore collections of art, museum handling objects and cultural activities with people unable to get to our heritage and library sites, in their own homes.

Could you volunteer to support teenagers under arrest at the police station? Appropriate Adults support young people in custody to make sure they understand the processes, can communicate with the police and are treated fairly. This volunteer opportunity is open to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism at our farm - COT's Rare Breeds Centre.

The Section Team plans, delivers, and runs quality programmes safely. They make sure all young people can take part in the programme and gain skills for life. They also help young people work towards their Top Awards. With a brilliant programme, each young person can make a positive impact in society as they step up, speak up, and find their place in the world.
