Walk For A Cure is an brand new event for everyone impacted by dementia. A cure is within our grasp, together we can make it happen. In supporting this event, volunteers will be creating a platform through which friends & family can gather, share and make a lasting difference to dementia for future generations. Roles include: Greeter, Marshal and Event Village Helper.

As an Independent Life Skills volunteer, you will be supporting the delivery of our Lifewise Programme. This role will focus on cooking and we need a volunteer to work with the young people to help them choose what meals to make, supervise and assist with the cooking, plating up the food and then also with washing and tidying up afterwards.

We are always trying to encourage our members around health and wellbeing and it would be great to have someone with an interest in fitness to support them to play games, sports, dance, yoga etc

Could you help to celebrate, cheer, wave and encourage more than 400 runners donning their Teenage Cancer Trust shirts and taking on 26.2 miles to raise funds for young people with cancer.

Our resident is interested in languages & loves to learn new things to keep mentally active. Enjoys talking about his previous job (scientist). Would like someone interested in language or education.

Lake View is a beautiful 60 bedded care home for the elderly. There is a coffee shop and cinema lounge within the home and we would like passionate volunteers to help run them over the weekend.

Recently launched a new community outreach & befriending scheme for older people in the community called the Gateway. We welcome volunteers who would like to assist & support the sessions on offer.

We would like a volunteer who enjoys gardening to help revamp our care home's garden. Primarily to make our garden space more colourful and vibrant through helping with planting and weeding.
