Lead Retail Volunteer 1 (Southport)
As a Lead Retail Volunteer, you will play a key role within the in store team, supporting staff with the day to day running of the shop, helping to attract and recruit new volunteers, and mentoring fellow volunteers. You will also have the opportunity to support the staff team with the development, in-store marketing campaigns and initiatives within the store. Our retail stores are the face of our charity on the high-street and in local communities, and money raised through our retail operations help support children, young people and families across the UK. You will play a key role in this, by supporting the team to maximise the revenue from donated stock, gifts in kind, new goods and Gift Aid. Our Lead Volunteers for retail support the staff team to ensure the smooth running of the store, ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to. Please note: This role requires a time commitment of approximately 5–10 hours per week. Due to the vetting requirements, the application process may take longer than usual.
