The RAF Museum has acquired large collections of photographs showing aviation at the end of the 20th century. Help is needed with the digitization and cataloguing of the collections with the aim of getting them online. It is also hoped these images can be used in the new exhibition being prepared for the RAF Museum’s Midlands Development Programme and will add value to the project. The RAF Museum’s Midlands Development Programme MDP comprises a major regional engagement programme supported by a new collections hub, learning centre, contemporary exhibition and co-curated interpretive interventions across the site.

What will I be doing?This role will involve tasks such asSorting the collections and storing in conservation grade materials,Digitization of the transparencies and negatives,Cataloguing and indexing of the images,Filing the digital images according to Museum policy and updating the digital asset management system,Providing images for the team developing content for the new exhibition at the Museum’s Midland site.How much time would I need to commit?There are two collections needing volunteers...
