Make a Smile Magic Makers help facilitate Make a Smile events by supporting characters at our visits to hospitals and to children in the community, be it facilitating interactions or running enrichment such as doing magic, arts and crafts or balloon animals!

We're a social club for adults with learning disabilities every other weekend. We have various themes to the nights and we need volunteers to make teas, organise a pool tournament, have a chat etc

On Sunday 21st April 2024, more than 300 runners are donning their Teenage Cancer Trust shirts and taking on 26.2 miles to raise funds for young people with cancer. Greet our runners at the finish line after their epic challenge and take them to our post race venue where they can relax and rest with food, drink and a massage.

Walk For A Cure is an brand new event for everyone impacted by dementia. A cure is within our grasp, together we can make it happen. In supporting this event, volunteers will be creating a platform through which friends & family can gather, share and make a lasting difference to dementia for future generations. As an Independent Life Skills volunteer, you will be supporting the delivery of our Lifewise Programme. This role will focus on cooking and we need a volunteer to work with the young people to help them choose what meals to make, supervise and assist with the cooking, plating up the food and then also with washing and tidying up afterwards.
