Alzheimer’s Research UK is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our awesome Cheer Squad at the London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday 18th June 2023 Our #TeamARUK cyclists will be taking on the challenging London to Brighton Bike Ride and we need you, your family and friends to whoop and cheer as loud as you can to support our them along the route.

Use your skills and experiences to meet a young person on a 1-2-1 basis and help on their journey to get to where they want to be. With 89% of the young people we work with saying that having a mentor has improved their life, your skills and experiences will have a positive impact.

Walk For A Cure is an brand new event for everyone impacted by dementia. A cure is within our grasp, together we can make it happen. In supporting this event, volunteers will be creating a platform through which friends & family can gather, share and make a lasting difference to dementia for future generations. Roles include: Greeter, Marshal and Event Village Helper.

Join CPRE London as an Events volunteer and help protect green spaces in Greater London! Participate in fun events like the "Urban Tree Festival" and "London Rivers Week" while making the city a better and healthier place.

We are looking for a Programme Funding Volunteer who will support on researching and tailoring applications to grant makers and help with producing project progress reports with a level of detail suited to the funder. There may also be opportunities get involved with other income streams, including digital fundraising, sponsored events and funding through regular giving from individuals.

When the going gets tough for our #TeamARUK runners, and the final mile seems a long way off, we give them that extra encouragement they need to get across the finish line! In 2022 our Cheer Squads supported runners in events across the UK raising upwards of £1.5 million! So your help will be a key contributor to raising vital funds for dementia research.
